You are here > vaccines
Some people hate vaccines but we love them
Vaccines have saved more lives than probably any other medical intervention. If we roll the clock back more than 200 years in Europe many of your children would not reach adulthood because they succumbed to diseases we now protect them from with vaccines such as measles, diphtheria, polio, typhoid, meningitis etc.

Take a flight to developing nations and see children in wheelchairs or hobbling from polio. Visit refugee camps devastated by measles.

You will understand better why we say YEHS to vaccines.

Say YEHS to protecting yourself
There are 2 vaccines, which protect against forms of cancer and within your lifetime there may be many more. A course of Hepatitis B vaccine could save many cases of liver cancer and the Human Papilloma Virus Vaccines can protect many girls/women from Cervical Cancer.

Say YEHS to protecting your children
We love to protect children. We can follow the American and French child vaccine programmes. We sometimes have chickenpox (acll 0207 580 5467 to check) and rotavirus vaccines. At first children do not love a scary man/woman with a needle but we give them time to scream, yell, curse their parents and we have a delightful Wendy house for them to play in. Most of our children leave with a smile on their face.

To avoid mumps at school or university book in now for the MMR Vaccine. The vaccine protects against measles, mumps and rubella.

Many British children between the ages of 16 and 25 are NOT currently protected against mumps and may need the MMR Vaccine.
